Hi, I'm Deanna!
I'm a wife, a mama, and a self-taught designer.
After returning to work after maternity leave, I realized something wasn't right. I wanted more time with my family and dreamed of running a business that allowed me to fulfill two passions: design & motherhood.
I'd always made the safe and smart choice when it came to career decisions. I chose security and what I though other's expected of me. After all breaking into design isn't all rainbows and sunshine.
Then, I learned about brand strategy.
My experience is in leadership and education. I’ve spent (almost) the last 10 years helping people pursue their dreams by identifying their strengths. I'm a personality test fiend and I'm obsessed with the pursuit of learning.
I’ve combined my experience in learning and development with my obsession for design, and am now pursuing my dream of helping businesses become experiential brands through strategic brand design.
Brand strategy is the plan for how businesses shape the perception of their brand to customers. It combines the intangible characteristics such as mission, values, & brand promise then communicates your brand to the customer.

The first stage is developing strategy through a brand strategy workshop. Strategy is industry speak for a framework or a guide. We’ll cultivate everything from your brand’s mission, to target audience personas, and the voice of your brand. This will serve as the driving force for all brand decisions.
Your brand's visual assets are rooted in your brand’s strategy and are designed to speak directly to your dream customer. This is where I get to be a magician (maybe more like a mad scientist?) and bring the soul of your business to life through visual assets and individualized brand touchpoints.
There is power in knowledge and this last phase is arguably the most important. After the strategy is developed and the touchpoints are created, you need to understand how to effectively implement your brand. We’ll teach you how to utilize each aspect of your strategy and brand to go from business to experiential brand.
